This weekend was the start of Nov. my gosh how fast this 2013 year has gone by. Love the ending of the year because everyone is cheerful and the smell of Christmas trees. MY FAV. Well anyways I had to work on Halloween but it was fine because i didnt have to wear my uniform which is always a plus cuz its hidious. A blue jean button up shirt, wheres the aloha spirit in that. But our store we cater more to the tourist, so if your ever in Lahaina check out Foodland Farms in the Lahaina Gateway on Keawe st. We have the best Poke in Lahaina, also a great selection of meat, cheese and wine( YELP).Then Friday since we were in Kahului picking up a few things, cuz thats the only place you can really shop for everything on this island. But our last stop was this new lil shack like where you can get some freshly made Lemonade with some local produce, everything is locally grown on MAUI. Its located right when you drive out of the airport across of KMART by the surf shop. Check
it out it comes in Mason Jars and its only $9 for a 32oz Jar. Well skip ahead a few days to Saturday. My husband and I full cleaned and rearanged our room and still got more to do. But it feels so much better when you know where everything is and its not messy and cluttered. Our room is a bunch of diff colors but primarly PINK BROWN AND BLACK. With a lil bit of BOB MARLEY:) Then had some Genki Sushi and if you dont know what that is, its like TODAI'S but its soo good. Love the shrimp, but you pay by the color of the plate and the have a belt with food you can just take it off, or order. Then later that day my husband and I met with his friends down at Loan Pine Tree, which is on the way going to Kahului. Its a good fishing spot plus there is a fresh water river that is always flowing into the ocean so you can get 'Opae (crawfish) like. Of course there was some pupu and beer invloved. IT was so windy and small kine drizzles. Shooties A HUI HOU ALOHA
